Keep the page in view and the rhythm in your ear. Your sheet music and strum cues, together in one happy little place.
Photograph your sheet music or add images from your device. They stay right here.
Playlist = songs on this device. Songbook = your cloud-stored songs. These file actions do not send anything to a Songbook. A Library of songs members explicitly make public is not available yet.
Playlist → file. One .strum.json file contains all songs in this Playlist, including their sheet pages and original recordings. Use it as a backup or send it to another device. The browser chooses where to save unless its settings ask you.
This button copies songs only (v1). Setlist names, order, selected cues and notes are saved separately: open Setlists and save each complete Setlist file (v2).
File → this Playlist. First save an AirDrop or email attachment to Files/Downloads, then choose it here. If it contains several songs, choose which to add. Existing songs are kept; distinct pages and cues are added. Nothing is uploaded.
A file copy is a backup only once you confirm it was saved somewhere safe. Older files can bring back locally removed items. Files are not encrypted. Your original file is not deleted or changed when you add songs here.
Open this link in Safari. Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Open it once online before trying offline.
Choose a song, add your pages, and record a named cue. Allow microphone access when asked. Each take has its own play, loop and download controls. Recording stops and saves when this page is hidden when the browser permits; keep it open for reliable recording.
Your Playlist is the collection stored on this device for practice. A Songbook contains cloud-stored songs accessible using its email lookup. Add selected Songbook songs to this Playlist, or send a selected Playlist song to a Songbook explicitly. The email lookup is unverified: anyone knowing it can enter. A public Library and member directory are future features, not available in this stage.
A Setlist is a named, ordered practice plan using songs from this Playlist. Choose cues and add notes in Setlists. Setlist details stay on this device and do not sync to a Songbook. Save/share each Setlist file to preserve its order, notes and selected material. A songs-only Playlist file does not include Setlists.
Removing a song from this Playlist does not remove its Songbook copy. Browser storage can still be cleared or evicted: keep a file copy somewhere safe. Use Files & copies for AirDrop/email song files and old backups.
Recording uses a format supported by your browser (often M4A on Apple devices, or WebM elsewhere). Downloads retain that original format. Some audio formats may not play on every device. Test a short cue before recording a full session.
Checking offline support…
Stage 1 preview · Single-song transfers and practice controls. Prototype: microphone behavior, installation and offline reopening still need a real iPhone/iPad check. Private hosting may require an online sign-in again when its session expires. This is not a native app or background recorder.
Zoom in to check tiny chords and lyrics. Only your chosen copy is saved in this Playlist; existing pages and the source photo are not changed.
